2) Data & Reporting Assessment
With the business question defined, ProTek identifies where the required information lives. We assess relevant data across CMiC’s financial, project, workforce, and operational modules, along with custom fields and third-party systems, to determine what can support the reporting requirement.
3) Data Relationships, Joins & Business Logic
ProTek connects information across CMiC to turn available data into meaningful answers. Depending on the requirement, we develop table joins, cross-module relationships, calculations, and business rules, incorporating custom fields or third-party data where needed to reflect how your organization operates.
4) Reporting Solution Design
ProTek selects the reporting approach that best fits the requirement, available data, and user experience. The solution may use CMiC BI Analytics, Jasper Reports, Power BI, custom SQL and data views, or modifications to existing reports to deliver information in a useful format.
5) Prototype & Iterate
ProTek develops an initial concept, reviews it with users, and refines it through feedback. We adjust layouts, filters, calculations, visualizations, and drilldowns as needed, shaping the solution around how users consume information and what they need to make decisions.
6) Validate the Numbers
ProTek validates reporting results against appropriate sources, such as existing CMiC reports, financial statements, job cost records, source transactions, and control totals. We also review business calculations to confirm the solution produces accurate, consistent results that users can trust.
7) Deployment & User Validation
